PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for an air conditioner to perform communication without exercising an influence on a refrigerating system situated between an outdoor machine and an indoor machine. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 for the remote controller 1 is operated such that an abnormal cable sentence detected by an abnormal telegram detecting means 13 is measured by an abnormal telegram counter means 14, and by varying an interval of an operation information demand time when the number of abnormal telegrams exceeds a given value, communication is practicable without exercising an influence on control of operation of the refrigerating system situated between the indoor machine and the outdoor machine. |
