<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to more effectively learn an original word, that is, a foreign language. <P>SOLUTION: When an original word is input by a keyboard 65, a translation and an image corresponding to the original word are read from a memory and displayed on a display screen 53. In accordance with the operation of the keyboard 65, the mode is selectively switched between a normal mode and a stereoscopic view mode. In the stereoscopic view mode, a plurality of same words, same translations, and same images are displayed at intervals in a horizontal direction, and the horizontal spacing between some of the display elements of the original word, translation, and image is made different from the horizontal spacing between the other display elements.
