PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication unit that can replace a telephone call between a fixed telephone and a mobile phone with a telephone call between mobile phones without degrading communication quality.SOLUTION: A telephone call from a fixed telephone 11, 20 is relayed to a radio communication adapter 13 by a private branch exchange 12, and originated to one of a plurality of outside mobile terminals 21 from a communication function unit (14) of a connection mobile terminal connected to the radio communication adapter 13. At this time, the radio communication adapter 13 originates directly to an outside mobile terminal 21 without going through a mobile terminal because the communication function unit (14) of the connection mobile terminal is integrated into the radio communication adapter 13. This makes it possible to replace a telephone call between the fixed telephone 11, 20 and the mobile phone 21 with a telephone call between the mobile phones without degrading communication quality, and reduce communication charges due to a charge system between mobile phones. |
