PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling display of at least one item of information relating to an apparatus on a screen of an electronic device.SOLUTION: The method includes: providing an enriched image of an apparatus, including an image of the apparatus and interest points of the apparatus (step a); choosing at least one interest point from among a plurality of interest points to obtain a set of chosen interest points (step b); selecting information to be displayed (step c); providing a set of diagrams of the apparatus available for the apparatus (step d); optimizing, according to a predefined criterion, each available diagram of the apparatus by inserting thereto a preview of information to be displayed to obtain one or more enriched schematic representations (step e); classifying the enriched schematic representations according to the predefined criterion (step f); and displaying at least one of the enriched schematic representations obtained in place of the enriched image (step h).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
