PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benzimidazole compound for combating liver flukes in mammals, and oral, topical or injectable veterinary compositions comprising the same.SOLUTION: The invention provides a benzimidazole compound represented by the formula in the figure, and compositions comprising the same. The invention also provides a method for using the benzimidazole compound preferably in combination with a macrocyclic lactone or verapamil as an active agent.
