If the toner softening temperature in the ½ method test is not less than 112° C. but is less than 115° C., the surface free energy is set at not greater than 15 mN/m. If the toner softening temperature in the ½ method test is not less than 115° C. but is less than 126° C., the surface free energy is set at not greater than 20 mN/m. If the toner softening temperature in the ½ method test is not less than 126° C. but not greater than 130° C., the surface free energy is set at not greater than 40 mN/m.
