摘要 PURPOSE: A measurement apparatus of ribbon optical fiber loss is provided to improve a efficiency of measuring work and connection work. CONSTITUTION: An artificial optical fiber(3) is connected to a optical pulse tester, and analyzes a waveform. A optical fiber core selector(8) selects only any one of a plurality of optical fiber cores(10), and connects one side end of the selected optical fiber core with the artificial optical fiber. A power source(12) drives the optical fiber core selector. A ribbon optical connector(9a) is connected to the optical fiber core selector by the ribbon optical fiber core. An adaptor couples a exterior ribbon optical connector to the ribbon optical connector. A plurality of short core optical connector are connected to the optical fiber core selector by the short core optical fiber, for measuring a short core optical fiber. A adaptor couples a exterior short core optical connector to the short core optical connector. Thereby, the connection loss measuring time of the ribbon optical fiber can be shortened, so that the efficiency of measuring work and connection work can be improved.
