MASK ROM

PURPOSE: A mask ROM is provided to improve selection of memory blocks by joining a ground selection line and a bit line selection line of neighboring memory blocks. CONSTITUTION: A mask ROM comprises a plurality of memory cell blocks having a plurality of memory cells coupled between first bit lines; a plurality of second bit lines; a plurality of first bank selectors coupled to odd second bit lines, for selecting odd first bit lines; a plurality of second bank selectors coupled to even second bit lines, for selecting even first bit lines; a pair of bit line selection lines for controlling the first bank selectors; a pair of ground selection lines for controlling the second bank selectors; and a block decoder for selecting one of the memory blocks by selecting the ground selection line and the bit line selection line.
