<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge without causing damage such as flaw and breakage on a member such as a transfer belt when loading the process cartridge even when saving the occupancy space of the process cartridge and a transfer unit or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge 2 is provided with an image carrier 1, at least one electrophotographic process means located around the image carrier 1, a cartridge frame body which supports the image carrier 1 and the process means and has a transfer opening which allows the image carrier 1 to open for a transfer means of an image forming device main body and a protection cover 7 which covers the transfer opening. Therein, the process cartridge 2 is attachable and detachable for the image forming device main body.
