OPTICAL TRANSMISSION APPARATUS AND ITS RESETTING METHOD, AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reset arbitrary slave stations individually from a master station through a repeating system using optical transmission of a mobile telephone network without making slave station operations unstable.

SOLUTION: A comparator 15 compares the reception level (e) of a photodiode 101 with a reference voltage (e0), and a mono-state multivibrator 106 is triggered by a rise of the output of the comparator 105 when the reception level (e) rises exceeding e0. When the optical signal from the master station is turned off, a reset pulse is outputted to reset a processing circuit of a slave station, and then the normal operation state is immediately entered.
