PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music regenerating device provided with a new performance evaluation function with high entertainingness. SOLUTION: The music regenerating device includes a performance evaluation means 70 for evaluating contents of performance in response to voice input from a microphone 40 by accompanying output of performance output, a reading difficulty modification means 72 for modifying reading difficulty of text character videos in response to an evaluation result of the performance evaluation means, an information input request means 76 for requesting predetermined information input, and an information input determination means 78 for determining whether or not information requesting by the information input request means 76 is input. The reading difficulty modification means 72 can carry out performance evaluation control with high entertainingness by being entwined with the text character videos displayed on a video display device 30 and the reading difficulty can be lowered by the predetermined information input when the reading difficulty of the text character videos rises excessively since the reading difficulty of the text character videos is lowered when determination by the information input determination means 78 is affirmed.
