A solid prop rod for a folding seat is provided to prevent wear of an end socket due to friction between the rod and the end socket, to reduce noise, to improve bending force of the prop rod, and to turn the prop rod actively by forming a connecting unit between the rod and the end socket. A solid prop rod for a folding seat includes a prop rod body(110), an end socket(121) combined with both ends of the prop rod body, a lock nut(130) inserted to an end of the prop rod body and combined with the end socket, and a rotating member installed between the end of the prop rod body and the lock nut to turn the prop rod body to the end socket. The end socket is combined with an end socket assembling housing(160) and combined with the lock nut. The rotating member is formed of a bushing(141,142) inserted between the end of the prop rod body and the lock nut.
