<p num="1"><br/><br/><br/>The invention relates to a method for the non-destructive inspection of a test <br/>body using ultrasound, according to which ultrasonic waves are coupled into <br/>the test body using one or a plurality of ultrasonic transducers and <br/>ultrasonic waves that are reflected inside the test body are received by a <br/>plurality of ultrasonic transducers and converted into ultrasonic signals, <br/>which form the basis of the non-destructive imaging ultrasonic inspection. The <br/>invention is characterised by the following steps: an ultrasonic transducer is <br/>provided and activated on a surface of the test body in such a way that the <br/>ultrasonic waves that have been coupled into the test body are propagated <br/>three-dimensionally inside said body with a largely uniform distribution; the <br/>ultrasonic waves that are reflected inside the test body are received using a <br/>plurality m of ultrasonic transducers that are provided on the surface and m <br/>ultrasonic time signals are generated, in which amplitude information is <br/>contained in a time-dependent manner; the m ultrasonic time signals are <br/>stored; a 3-dimensional volumetric image, a sector image in the form of a 2-<br/>dimensional ultrasonic sectional image through the test body, or an A image in <br/>the form of a 1-dimensional ultrasonic echo signal is reconstructed along a <br/>predefinable introduction angle in a time- and location-dependent manner, <br/>exclusively using at least some of the m ultrasonic time signals.<br/>
