A setting information registering apparatus capable of avoiding the generation of unnecessary setting information when generating setting information necessary for establishing wireless communication. A setting information registering apparatus (100) arbitrarily collects the identification information unique to unspecified apparatuses and extracts therefrom the identification information unique to a specified wireless apparatus (STA). The setting information registering apparatus (100) generates, based on the extracted identification information, setting information necessary for the wireless apparatus to establish a wireless communication, and registers the generated setting information with wireless control apparatuses (200,201,300,301).
