<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endothelin-1 production inhibitor derived from natural products. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided uses of an extract from a fruit of Sechium edule as the endothelin-1 production inhibitor, a big endothelin-1 production inhibitor, a bleaching cosmetic, a medicine and a functional food.
