PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to keep long an automatic engine stop period by idling stop at a time of opening a roof without unnecessarily increasing the temperature of an evaporator.SOLUTION: A temperature of an evaporator 5 for air-conditioning to be cooled with an engine used as a driving source is detected by a temperature sensor S4. The temperature detected by the temperature sensor S4 is controlled to be equal to a predetermined temperature. The engine is automatically stopped when a condition for idling stop including vehicle stop is satisfied. If the temperature detected by the temperature sensor S4 is equal to or higher than an upper limit temperature that is set higher than the predetermined temperature, the automatically-stopped engine is automatically restarted. The predetermined temperature at a time of opening a roof is changed to a lower temperature than the predetermined temperature at a time of closing the roof, thereby making it possible to keep a period of the automatic engine stop by the idling stop at the time of opening the roof longer than that at the time of closing the roof. |
