A powder conveying apparatus and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to set up the upstream slope at a power transfer path of transfer projections smaller than the downstream slope, consequently the power can be transferred at a low cost and with small space. Powders lie down on a transfer path plate(41), and a vibration generator(43) vibrates the transfer path plate. Plural transfer protrusions(42) are prepared on a surface of the transfer path plate to transfer the powders. The upstream slope at a power transfer path of transfer projections is set up smaller than the downstream slope, and the height of the transfer protrusions is 10 times larger than the average volume diameter of a power particle. The vibration generator is installed at an upstream section of the transfer path plate. |
