PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation structure having a high degree of flexibility in seismic isolation design.SOLUTION: In a seismic isolation structure, laminated rubbers 16 and spherical sliding bearings 18 are arranged between a lower structure 12 and an upper structure 14. The laminated rubbers 16 and the spherical sliding bearings 18 are arranged in parallel so that both of them are horizontally displaced when the lower structure 12 and the upper structure 14 are relatively moved by receiving a lateral load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
