PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine, after the occurrence of an overcurrent in a secondary battery, whether or not the secondary battery is reusable.SOLUTION: A voltage detection unit 11 detects each voltage of a plurality of battery cells S1-Sn. A current detector 12 detects current which flows through a secondary battery 20. A controller 13 controls a switch which is connected between the secondary battery 20 and a load. When an overcurrent is detected by the current detector 12, the controller 13, before turning off the switch, controls the voltage detector 11 to detect each voltage value of the battery cells S1-Sn, as a voltage value to determine the reusability of the battery cells S1-Sn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
