PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound collector capable of suppressing echo in accordance with the changes in surrounding environment.SOLUTION: A sound collector includes a speaker for emitting a non-audible sound of the non-audible range of human, and a microphone section for receiving the ambient sound, and outputting a non-audible signal corresponding to the non-audible sound, and an audible signal corresponding to the audible sound in the audible range of human, from the sound. The sound collector executes a step for estimating the echo component included in the non-audible signal (S22), a step for suppressing the echo component of the audible signal, by applying an echo suppression filter depending on the echo component to the audible signal (S28), a step for detecting the fact that the path of the echo of non-audible sound has changed, based on the change in the non-audible signal (S20), and a step for updating the echo suppression filter, when the change of the path is detected (S26).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
