ROUTE SEARCH SYSTEM, ROUTE SEARCH METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route search system capable of searching for a route to a destination also preferentially not only for making the time of arrival at the destination earlier but also for reducing an error between the estimated time of arrival at the destination and an actual value, a route search method and a computer program.SOLUTION: By taking statistics of collected probe information, an average value and a variance of travels times of nationwide links are identified. Regarding a route that is searched by route search processing based on a questionnaire result of a user, on the other hand, a delay allowable range that is an allowable range to be delayed from a route for arriving at the destination earliest and an error allowable range that is an allowable range to generate an error in the estimated time of arrival at the destination are set. A calculation reference in calculating a cost value in such a manner that the route to be searched by the route search processing most satisfies the delay allowable range and the error allowable range is set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
