In a wireless communication system in which an AP and a plurality of STAs are connected and different wireless frames addressed to the plurality of STAs are simultaneously transmitted from the AP by FDMA, the AP is provided with: a control frame transmission means that generates a control frame having information about frequency resources respectively allocated to each STA, and that transmits the control frame in a primary channel commonly used by the STAs; and a wireless frame transmission means that simultaneously transmits the wireless frames addressed to each of the STAs using the frequency resources respectively allocated to each of the STAs, wherein the STAs are provided with a frequency resource selection reception means that receives the control frame in the primary channel and that receives the wireless frame addressed to the corresponding station using the frequency resource notified via the control frame.
