In the present invention, there is disclosed a method of carrying out accelerated corrosion tests with accelerated loss of unfixed volatile organic components from a layer of organic coatings, wherein samples with an organic coating (3) layer are put into a vacuum chamber (1), which is evacuated by a vacuum pump (13), wherein the degree of the achieved vacuum is measured by a vacuum gauge (12), controlled by a needle valve (11) and the vacuum chamber (1) is heated in controlled manner. The coating (3) samples being tested are exposed after evacuation in other devices to other different physical loads, such as freezing, moistening or lighting by UV radiation, to thereby provide amplifying, so called synergistic effect that significantly accelerates ageing of the tested coating (3) layers. |
