<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the barrel, onto which a decorative ring can be easily provided and on which the decorative ring does not easily rotates, of a writing utensil under the condition that a gripping member is installed on the holding part of the barrel and the decorative ring is provided on the rear of the gripping member. <P>SOLUTION: In the barrel, onto which the decorative ring is provided on the rear of the gripping member, which is made of an elastic body and installed on the holding part of the barrel, of the writing utensil, a diametrally reducing stepped part or inclined part is formed in the rear end part of the gripping member and, at the same time, the decorative ring is provided at the stepped part or inclined part of the gripping member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
