<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily efficiently and massively produce a fused protein having an α1,3-fucosyl transferase VI activity as a soluble protein, and to make it possible to easily obtain the 1,3-fucosyl transferase VI itself from the fused protein. <P>SOLUTION: The recombinant fused protein comprising a sugar-binding protein and a 1,3-fucosyl transferase VI. The method for producing the recombinant fused protein is characterized by comprising the following processes (1) to (3): (1) transforming Escherichia coli with an expression vector in which a DNA encoding a sugar-binding protein is connected to a DNA encoding the 1,3-fucosyl transferase VI under the control of a promoter capable of acting in the Escherichia coli to express the fused protein of both the proteins, (2) culturing the obtained transformant to produce the fused protein comprising the sugar-binding protein and the 1,3-fucosyl transferase VI, and (3) separating the fused protein from the obtained culture product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
