<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function for detecting abnormality in an operation cycle of each of micro-computers while restraining a mounting space for component from increasing, in a clocking device for conducting clocking processing using two microcomputers. <P>SOLUTION: The sub-micro-computer 2 outputs the first pulse signal Pul_sig to the main micro-computer 1. The main micro-computer 1 calculates a frequency of the first pulse signal Pul_sig, stops an output of the second pulse signal Pu2_sig to a watchdog timer circuit 3 when the calculated frequency Pul_fc runs out from a normal frequency range, and outputs a reset signal RS_sig from the watchdog timer circuit 3 to a reset terminal RSTm of the main micro-computer 1 and a reset terminal RSTs of the sub-micro-computer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
