PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler system that removes sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides in the combustion gas without reducing thermal efficiency.SOLUTION: A boiler system 100 includes: a boiler 10 for burning fuel containing a sulfur content of less than 8.0 wt.%, containing a chlorine content of less than 0.1 wt.% and containing moisture of less than 20.0 wt.%, and generating a combustion gas; a bag filter 20 for removing the sulfur oxides and removing soot particles; a denitration unit 30 for removing the nitrogen oxides; a desulfurization absorber supply unit 40 for mixing a desulfurization absorber in the combustion gas in the upstream of the bag filter 20; and a reformer 50 for mixing a denitration reducing agent in the combustion gas in the upstream of the denitration unit 30. The bag filter 20 is a dry type, and a temperature of the combustion gas passing through the bag filter 20 and flowing into the denitration unit 30 is set between 180°C or more and 350°C or less.
