PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and an image processing apparatus which prevent a leakage of personal information from a display section displaying image data and facilitate identification of the image data using a printed media on which the image data are printed. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and the image processing apparatus comprise an operation section 8 for inputting examination information of a patient P, an imaging section 1 for generating image data by imaging the patient P, a display data generation section 41 for generating display data containing image data generated by the imaging section 1 and examination information corresponding to the image data, a printing data generation section 42 for generating printing data, and a display section 5 for displaying the display data. The display data generation section 41 generates first display data from which at least a part of personal identifiable information is eliminated in order to prevent identification of the patient P and displays the first display data on the display section 5. The printing data generation section 42 prints on a printer 105 the image data contained in the first display data and first printing data containing more personal information than at least the part of the personal information in order to facilitate identification of the patient P.
