PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition member of a picture frame in which predetermined quantity of frame members can be easily inserted against corner members and both of the members will not be unsteady even if no adhesive is used. SOLUTION: The composition member has a pair of insertion holes 5, 6 to insert a frame member of a U-shaped cross section which are formed in a right angle, and comprises a corner member 7a which forms a fitting projection 9 in the inner peripheral wall of an insertion hole 5 and a fitting member 8a which can be inserted in the insertion hole 5. The fitting member 8a has an insertion part 10 of U-shaped cross section fitting to the insertion hole 5 and a guide part 11 with slightly smaller periphery than the insertion part 10 connected continuously to the insertion part 10. A fitting recessed part 13 is formed to insert part 10, and the fitting projection 9 fits to the fitting recessed part 13, and prevents the fitting member 8a from coming out of the corner member 2a when insertion part 10 is inserted in the insertion hole 5, and the dimensional relationship is maintained in which a press fit gap is formed to be press fitted in the frame member between the insertion hole 5 and its guide part 11 inserted therein.
