PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a conventional technology, since a rice transplanter has a constitution in which a one-way crutch is interposed between a transmission device and a transplantation transmission gear and in which a power for reverse rotation is not transmitted to the transplantation transmission gear, the transplantation transmission gear cannot stop a transplanting rod, etc. in a normal fixed position unless a hydraulic stepless speed change gear is operated for disengaging a transplanting clutch during normal rotations. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter has a transmission constitution in which the power output from an engine (1) is input into the transmission device (3) via the hydraulic stepless speed change gear (2); in which the transmission device (3) outputs the power by branching off into a transplantation clutch case (5) and a travel device (6); and in which at the transplantation crutch case (5) having a fixed-position stop crutch (7), the power output from the transmission device (3) is constantly input in the state of normal rotation into the transplantation crutch case (5) with a fixed-position stop crutch (7) via a reverse rotation-converting device (8) even in either of the normal and reverse rotational directions.
