A method for controlling the prevention of the rollover of a vehicle, and its control apparatus are provided to prevent the rollover of a vehicle by controlling the steering of vehicle. An apparatus for controlling the prevention of the rollover of a vehicle comprises a lateral acceleration sensor(104) sensing the lateral acceleration of a vehicle; a yaw rate sensor(106); a vehicle speed sensor(102); a steering angle sensor(108); an electronic control unit(100) for the vehicle stability control apparatus; and a steering control part.
