PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond quickly to high temperature of a battery cell. SOLUTION: The battery pack includes: battery cells; and a cell monitor embedded in the battery cell, which can operate so as to monitor the battery cells and generate an alarm signal to show a prescribed state of the battery cells. The cell monitor includes a temperature sensor capable of operating to monitor the temperature of the battery cells, and when the temperature of the battery cells is higher than a prescribed threshold, the cell monitor generates an alarm signal. The cell monitor includes a voltage sensor capable of operating to monitor the voltage of the battery cells, and when the voltage of the battery cells is higher than the prescribed threshold, the cell monitor generates the alarm signal.
