A control system for a motorcycle clutch comprising: a manual clutch control system coupled to actuator for manipulating the clutch; and an electronic clutch control system comprising: a sensor configured to sense an operating parameter of the motorcycle related to performance or speed of the motorcycle and configured to send a signal relating to the performance or speed of the motorcycle;a microcomputer comprising: a microprocessor configured to receive as an input the signal from the sensor; andmemory having a plurality of performance programs wherein one of the plurality of programs can be selected depending upon the desired result wherein the memory is configured to receive the input signal from the microprocessor and is configured to provide an output to the microprocessor based upon the selected program and wherein the microprocessor is configured to send an output signal; anda control actuator configured to accept the output signal and configured to manipulate the clutch to achieve a desired performance characteristic of the motorcycle.
