The operation mode selection method comprises: receiving, via a fingerprint sensor of the terminal, fingerprint information (102); and selecting a target operation mode from a plurality of preset operation modes according to the received fingerprint information (104). The technical solution can quickly and accurately identify, via an existing handheld terminal having a fingerprint identification function, a hand-holding manner of a user without increasing hardware cost, thus providing an operation mode suitable for a hand-holding posture of a user, facilitating terminal operation of the user, and improving user experience. |
