Ideally the device is made of an elastic material, facilitating the attachment to the shoe without the use of any buckles or fasteners. One band (6) is guided around the heel (5) and is fitted with two spikes at the transversal section underneath the sole (3). A second band extends into two segments (7.1, 7.2) at each side which are also guided around the sole (3) of the shoe (1). Two flat helical springs are positioned longitudinally between the two transversal sections, which are provided with two spikes each.
