<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module adaptor for connecting an XFP optical module to an optical communication device designed for an XENPAK. <P>SOLUTION: The optical module adaptor has a housing 41 for an XFP pluggable module 1, and an outline shape of an XENPAK pluggable module.
