<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous refractory material which is excellent in a corrosion resistance against a molten metal (molten steel) and a molten-metal infiltration resistance and can effectively generate high gas permeability estimated (set) when it is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The porous refractory material is obtained by using a mixture comprising 100 pts.wt. of spherical magnesia particles with a particle diameter of 2.0-0.3 mm as aggregate and 5-20 pts.wt. of a matrix powder of at least functioning as a binder and firing the mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
