<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized optical analytical system which can continuously analyze body fluid of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor section has a hollow space extending from the distal end to the proximal end, wherein a needle array having at least one hollow needle suitable for lancing at the distal end. The proximal end of the needle is opened into a chamber in which liquid that enters through the distal end of the needle can be collected. A window which can be at least partially permeable to an infrared ray comes in direct contact with the chamber.
