The light (1) has a housing (3), a light panel (2) and a lighting unit provided in the light, where light beam of the lighting unit enters outwards by the light panel that is connected with the housing. The light panel and the housing are connected with one another in a fixed manner by a resistive welding process, where the welding process is effected by a wire (5), a wire mesh and a foil. The wire, the wire mesh and the foil are provided in a contact area between a flange of the light panel and a flange of the housing.
