<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a strap having a cable for communication which is convenient as a strap, and a strap unit and portable electronic equipment with the same strap having the cable. <P>SOLUTION: The strap unit 10 is attached to the side surface of a camera main body 1. The root of the strap unit 10 is a short cord for communication 12. A connector 13 is provided at the edge of the cord 12 and a strap main body 11 is fixed on the connector 13. A protection cap 14 can be attached to the connector 13. When carrying the camera or when taking a photograph, the camera main body 1 is used with the cap 14 attached to the connector 13. When transferring image data from the camera main body 1 to external equipment such as a PC, the cap 14 is detached and the terminal 13a of the connector 13 is connected to the external equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
