The present invention relates to a method for producing lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18 : 1 by treating phospholipid extracted from microorganisms with phospholipase A2, and to lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18 : 1 produced by the method. The lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18 : 1 of the present invention can be used as a vaccine material for increasing an immune reaction of plants without side effects such as inhibition of plant growth and as a composition for enhancing fruit storage. Additionally, the lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18 : 1 can be used for a food, medicine, cosmetics, and agricultural uses, and is useful for related industries.
