PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electric vehicle capable of improving energy recovery efficiency owing to regenerative braking while avoiding overcharge of a battery.SOLUTION: A control device for an electric vehicle includes: a motor torque command value calculation section 207 that causes a motor to generate a motor regenerative allowable torque when a determination is made as being a rollback state, and a motor torque command reference value exceeds a motor regenerative allowable torque on the basis of a battery chargeable power; and a friction brake torque command value calculation section 206 that causes a brake caliper to generate a friction brake torque having the same torque value as a difference between the motor torque command reference value and the motor regenerative allowable torque when a determination is made as being the rollback state, and the motor torque command reference value exceeds the motor regenerative allowable torque. |
