PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which makes it possible to intuitively recognize a distance to an approaching vehicle on the basis of a projected image of the approaching vehicle.SOLUTION: A projection system comprises: a first projection device for projecting an image M of an operator's vehicle; and a second projecting device for projecting images Q1, Q2, and Q3 of the approaching vehicle at times T1, T2, and T3. The second projecting device controls the focal distance and/or projection angle of a projection optical system 176 in accordance with a calculated distance to the approaching vehicle.
