PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device that can sufficiently prevent stray light while preventing deviation of an optical axis due to interference between a frame and a mirror and vignetting of reading light on a mirror reflection surface side.SOLUTION: In a reflection part that reflects reading light to a reading part, a first light shielding part (81a) is arranged, with a gap, opposite to an end face of a first reflection mirror (51) that reflects light from a document first. This configuration can suppress stray light from entering from the end face of the first reflection mirror (51). Provision of a second light shielding part (81b) between the gap and a second reflection mirror (52) can effectively prevent stray light entered from the gap.
