PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment device capable of recovering phosphorous included in sludge at a ratio higher than the conventional one by applying a crystallization method capable of recovering phosphorous in a form of being reutilizable as a fertilizer or the like.SOLUTION: The sludge treatment device comprises: polymer flocculant addition means of adding a polymer flocculant to sludge; a concentration part of subjecting at least a part of the sludge after the addition of the polymer flocculant to solid-liquid separation and exhausting flocculated sludge and a separation liquid; a phosphorous recovery part of recovering phosphorous by applying a crystallization method to the separation liquid and exhausting a dephosphorized liquid as the balance; a biological treatment part of treating the dephosphorized liquid by an active sludge process; a deodorization part of recovering odorous components generated from the sludge and exhausting an acidic waste liquid; active sludge feeding means of feeding at least a part of active sludge used in the biological treatment part to the deodorization part; and waste liquid addition means of adding the acidic waste liquid to the sludge before the addition of the polymer flocculant or after the addition. |
