Provided is a contact produced readily while the initial protrusion amount or the initial load thereof is adjusted, without having to prepare plate materials having different shapes or the like. The contact comprises: a housing part formed by a plate material bending process; an extending portion in which one extremity is joined to the housing part, and which has formed therein a protruding portion protruding in the front direction and a plate spring portion biasing the protruding portion in the front direction; and a supporting piece formed by bending the housing part at a predetermined location to slope in the back direction so as to support with the tip portion thereof the extending portion against the bias. The contact causes a connecting object in contact with the protruding portion to be electrically connected to an object wherewith contact is to be established. |
