PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily determine an adequate printer.SOLUTION: A print management device includes: a print determination section which determines a first printer that executes printing from a plurality of printers; a fault detection section which detects fault of the plurality of printers; and an alternative print determination section which determines a second printer that executes the printing in place of the first printer when the fault of the first printer is detected.
