<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent over-discharge of a secondary battery for travelling even when an engine stop signal is input into a control unit during high-speed running of a hybrid vehicle, thereby reducing the degradation of lifetime of the secondary battery for travelling. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid control unit for controlling travel of the hybrid vehicle, including a motive power distribution mechanism for distributing motive power between an engine and two motor generators, and the secondary battery for supplying electric power to the two motor generators, further includes an engine forcible stop inhibition processing means which inhibits the forcible stop of the engine by the motor generators, even when the engine stop signal is input in a speed range of an intermittent engine stop inhibition in which an intermittent engine stop is inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
