The present invention is directed to an industrial high-speed door assemb ly having a reduced door panel width and having guides for guiding the door which extend into a passageway but are resilient, tough, or resiliently coll apsible, to either withstand impacts from vehicle collisions or moveable dur ing opening of the door to avoid collisions while returning for guidance upo n closing the door.
