摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device capable of inspecting at all times the presence of the abnormality of a structure, such as bridge pier, tunnel, bridge girder, etc. in an unmanned state and monitoring the same. <P>SOLUTION: A monitor sensor 2 includes a transmission array antenna 24 for transmitting electromagnetic waves to a structure that is a target of inspection; a receiving array antenna 31 for receiving the waves reflected from the interior of the structure, a digital beam forming part 10 for varying the transmission direction of the electromagnetic waves from the transmission array antenna 24; an arrival angle estimating part 40 for estimating reflected wave arrival angle, from the receiving signal of the receiving array antenna 31; a transmission/reception time computing part 50 for computing the time taken from the transmission of the electromagnetic waves to the reception thereof; a determining part 60 for determining the presence of the abnormality of the structure, on the basis of the estimated arrival angle data of the reflected waves; and transmission/reception time data and a monitor sensor 2, equipped with a radio transmission part 70 for transmitting the determination result, to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
